Terms of use (CGU)
Last updated: 13 October 2026
These terms govern access to and use of the AssetIQ service, which is provided free of charge. By creating an account or using the service you accept them.
1. The service
AssetIQ is a web application for IT asset management: assets, sites, employees, vendors, licences, maintenance, tickets, alerts, consumables, compliance records and reporting.
The service is provided free of charge. No subscription is required and no payment is collected for its use.
The service is published and operated by Mert Ozgur, reachable at admin@assetiqpro.cloud, and hosted on cloud infrastructure within the European Union.
2. Accounts
You need an account to use the application. You are responsible for the accuracy of your details, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for all activity carried out under your account.
Accounts are personal. Sharing credentials between people is not permitted. Administrators of your organisation may create, modify and revoke access for members.
3. Your data and your responsibilities
You keep all rights to the records your organisation enters. You are responsible for having a lawful basis for the personal data you upload — in particular employee records — and for informing the people concerned.
You must not upload unlawful content, malware, or data you have no right to process.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: attempt to access another organisation's data; probe, scan or bypass authentication, permissions or rate limits; reverse engineer or copy the service; overload the infrastructure with automated traffic outside documented interfaces; or resell access without a written agreement.
Integrations and public endpoints must only be used with systems you are authorised to connect.
5. Free service and feature availability
AssetIQ is made available at no cost. All modules of the application — including licences, maintenance, tickets, alerts, consumables, compliance, reports, scanning, integrations and audit logs — are available to your organisation without charge.
Because the service is free, its features, modules and capacity may evolve over time. If a feature is withdrawn or restricted, we will announce it in the application beforehand where practical.
Optional integrations you enable (ITSM, chat, accounting or other third-party systems) are subject to your own agreements and costs with those providers; AssetIQ does not charge for connecting to them.
6. Availability and support
We aim for continuous availability but the service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, updates and dependencies of third-party providers may cause interruptions.
Any service-level commitment applies only if it is set out in a separate written agreement with your organisation.
7. Intellectual property
The application, its interface, source code and trademarks remain the property of the operator. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your internal operations.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to direct damages and does not cover indirect loss such as lost profits, loss of data caused by your own configuration, or the behaviour of third-party systems you connect.
You remain responsible for keeping your own exports and backups of records that are critical to your operations.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access in case of breach of these terms or activity that threatens the security of the service or of other customers.
After termination, data is deleted or exported according to the arrangement agreed with your organisation.
10. Changes and applicable law
We may amend these terms; the date at the top of this page reflects the current version, and material changes are announced in the application.
These terms are governed by French law, with disputes submitted to the competent courts of Paris, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules.
